Pupils are taught about important developments and events in Britain’s, and other parts of the world’s, past, from Stone Age to Modern Times.  They will consider what past societies were like, the beliefs and cultures that influenced people’s actions and how the past influences the present. They will investigate local history and learn about the past from a variety of sources.
